AC Distribution
ACDBs facilitate AC power distribution from solar inverters to the grid. These panels include circuit breakers to prevent overloads and short circuits. MCBs shut off the flow of electricity when it exceeds safe levels, protecting system components and ensuring continuous power distribution.
Also, ACDB panels include surge protectors to prevent voltage fluctuations. These devices detect voltage spikes, typically triggered by lightning strikes or grid disturbances. Surge protectors deviate excess electricity away from the system, protecting sensitive equipment and extending the life of the solar installation.
DC Distribution
Regarding safety, DCDB Panels regulate the distribution of DC power generated by solar panels, regulating the flow of electricity to inverters. DCDBs provide disconnect switches to prevent against overcurrent and improve system reliability. These switches allow technicians to isolate specific areas of the system for maintenance or in the event of an emergency, preventing equipment damage and maintaining safety for personnel.
